Comedy and curry fundraiser:      

COMEDY & CURRY NIGHT:
The Reading Lions raised £1,600 with their Christmas Comedy and Curry Night at Tilehurst’s Asian Spice Restaurant on 1st December.  Entertained by Comedians Colin Price and Bob Webb the sell out event was joined by Sir John Madejski who was using the opportunity to also celebrate his 25th Anniversary of taking over at Reading FC.  Organised by Mandy and Andy Young, Mandy said ‘A huge thanks to the generosity of our guests on the evening.   Supporting the Lions is an honour and seeing so many people enjoy themselves made for a fantastic evening’.  This was the eighth comedy and curry event organised where local restaurants are used to bring in professional comedians and fundraise for good causes.  Andy is happy to share the formulae of the events success, so if raising money for a good cause, comedy and food interests you email andy@abbeywindows.co.uk for a Free ‘How to’ info pack.
