Christmas Party Comedy and Curry Night - raises £3,000 for the Dystonia Society.

Our latest Comedy & Curry event raised £3,000 for the local Dystonia Society. We gathered at the Show Bar at the Grosvenor Casino. MC Daniel Kielty introduced Britainís Got Talent finalist Danny

Posthill followed by the fantastic and very funny Rod Woodward. The raffle and auctions were hugely popular with lots of prizes and many lucky guests picking up a treat or Christmas gift. It was our ninth and biggest event with more comedy nights and events planned for 2017.

Supporting the Berkshire Group for the Dystonia Society: Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder and is the term used to describe uncontrollable and sometimes painful muscle spasms caused by incorrect signals from the brain. It is estimated to affect at least 70,000 people in the UK. The Society was established to promote the welfare of people who are affected by any form of the neurological movement disorder known as dystonia. The Society aims to do this by promoting awareness of the disorder, by supporting research and by undertaking welfare initiatives. It does this on a national level and through its network of local support groups. Our fundraising is hoping to assist the local Berkshire Group.
